Fun Rock n Roll Trivia:
Rock and roll frauds Milli Vanilli had a problem during one of their supposed "live" performances. Apparently, the tapeloop
jammed and continued repeating the same line over and over again. The idiots danced a few steps and then both bolted
from the stage to fix the malfunctioning equipment.
Cher was one of the background vocalist on the Righteous Brothers' "You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling".
When Stu Cook and Doug Clifford reformed CCR as Creedence Clearwater. Former bandmate John Fogerty won a court
battle to prevent the use of the name and the live performance of CCR hits. The pair toured as Cosmo's Factory until the
ruling was overturned on an appeal.
Pat Boone enjoyed a total of 21 weeks at the top of the illustrious Billboard Pop chart with six different #1 hits spread out
between 1955 and 1961. His daughter Debby had one hit, "You Light Up My Life" in 1977, but it stayed number one for 10
weeks.
Beyond The Sea by Bobby Darin was loosely based on a tune called "Le Mer", written by Louis Charles Trenet in 1945.
Bobby kept the same melody, but the English words are not a translation of the French lyrics.
When United Artists was preparing to release ELO's debut album, a record company representative tried to call someone
connected with the band to find out what the album should be titled. The caller, having failed to locate the desired person,
wrote down the notation "no answer," a phrase which was mistaken for an LP title and assigned to the U.S. version of the
record.
In 1967, CBSTV tried to turn Led Zeppelin singer Robert Plant into a pseudo Tom Jones. In fact, Plant recorded an
orchestrated Italian ballad called "Our Song." It sold over 800 copies.
The longest title of an LP that actually made the Top Billboard chart is by Fiona Apple. Made up of a whopping 90 words, the
album is called - "When the Pawn Hits the Conflicts He Thinks Like a King What He Knows Throws the Blows When He
Goes to the Fight and He'll Win the Whole Thing 'Fore He Enters the Ring There's No Body to Batter When Your Mind Is Your
Might So When You Go Solo, You Hold Your Own Hand and Remember That Depth Is the Greatest of Heights and If You
Know Where You Stand, Then You Know Where to Land and If You Fall It Won't Matter, Cuz You'll Know That You're Right"
The motel that was the scene of the late great Janis Joplin's death in 1970 was across the street from where legend Bobby
Fuller died in 1966.
1950s singer, Pat Boone is the great, great, great, great grandson of US frontier hero Daniel Boone.
Led Zeppelin's Jimmy Page jammed as a session guitarist on Tom Jones' 1965 hit, "It's Not Unusual".

"Thanks for making my event in Hackettstown New Jersey something really special. I was pleasantly surprised that you guys
played some of my favorite songs and even played recorded dinner music during your breaks. I can't believe I was going to
pay over $1,500 for a full band and you guys more than did a great job. Thanks again!"
